Welcome to the 2011 Garrard County Open!

We are very excited for the sixth year of the Garrard County Open! The tournament has been exciting and fun-filled for the past five years. This year, we hope to make it bigger and better than ever! Please check back at this site for updates as we get closer to the tournament.

Basic Information

Date: July 22-24, 2011
(Only a few matches will be played on Friday evening for those who are available to play)
Entry deadline: July 21, 2011 at 10:00 am

Entry Fees:
MTC Members: Singles $15 and Doubles $20 (Per Team)
Non-MTC Members: Singles $20 and Doubles $26 (Per Team)

This tournament is open to all tennis players! You do not
have to be a Mountain Tennis Circuit (MTC) or USTA Member to play in this tournament, although we encourage all tennis players to join the MTC and USTA. If you would like more information about joining the MTC, check out their website at www.mtctennis.org.

The Garrard County Open raises money for the Garrard County High School Boys' Tennis Team. The GCHS Boys' Tennis Team claimed the 2011 Region Team Runner-up and the 2011 Doubles' Champions. Go Lions!

Entering the Tournament: Anyone may enter the tournament by using the form here: Entry Form. You may also enter by phone or e-mail. For e-mail entries, please include your name, hometown, divisions you desire to enter, phone number, and shirt size (everyone gets a free shirt with entry!). All entry fees are due at the tournament desk before a participant's first match.

Divisions Offered: We offer Men’s and Women’s Open (NTRP 5.5 and lower), B (4.0 and lower), and C (3.0 and lower) divisions in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles. We also offer Men's 40, 50, and 60 years or older age groups for singles. For juniors, we offer Boy's and Girls' 18-and under, 15-and under, and 12-and under age groups in both singles and doubles. Keep in mind that while all of these events are offered, some divisions may be combined with others if there are not enough entrants for a particular event.

Please Note: Due to limited court space, all participants are limited to entry in one singles and two doubles events.
